Creative Education Website & Online Showcase

The Challenge

Arts University Bournemouth needed a modern web presence that would serve a creative institution with over 140 years of history while meeting the highest standards of accessibility and user experience.

Our Approach

We collaborated with Bond + Coyne, university staff, students, and internal marketing teams to create a platform for teaching the next generation of creatives. The website was built using Craft CMS and React, with a strong focus on accessibility optimization.

When the pandemic struck, the platform’s flexibility proved invaluable, allowing us to rapidly adapt and host student end-of-year exhibitions online for the first time in the university’s history.

The Results

The new website saw AUB become one of the most accessible university sites in the country. Post-launch, we expanded the platform with enhanced tools for schools administration and internal reporting dashboards, continuing to support the institution’s evolving needs.
