iMusician, founded in 2010 by electronic music producers, had grown into a thriving community serving half a million DIY musicians and independent labels. They needed a platform that could handle complex distribution workflows to 200+ streaming services while maintaining their commitment to artist ownership and fair compensation.

Our Approach

We built a comprehensive platform using Craft CMS that manages the entire distribution lifecycle—from upload to monetization. The dashboard integrates with major platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, TikTok, and niche services like Beatport and Traxsource.

Key features include real-time analytics, playlist pitching tools, and flexible pricing models (pay-per-release and subscription options) that give artists complete control over their distribution strategy.

The Results

The platform successfully serves over 500,000 independent artists and labels, maintaining iMusician’s 25-year commitment to fighting for artist rights. Artists retain full ownership of their music and pay zero commission on streaming earnings, while accessing professional-grade distribution, promotion, and mastering tools.
