We’ve launched a new platform for Transport & Environment, Europe’s leading clean transport advocacy organisation. Representing 57 member groups across 24 countries, T&E campaigns for zero-emission mobility and cleaner transport policies.
The challenge was building a system that could serve a distributed team working across Brussels, Rome, Paris, Madrid, London, and Berlin while publishing everything from rapid-response campaign materials to technical policy research. The content varies wildly: urgent press releases about new legislation, detailed reports running to hundreds of pages, campaign toolkits for member organisations, and the landmark achievements that define their three-decade history.
We built the platform on Craft CMS with multi-language support and flexible content structures. The architecture needed to handle complexity without getting in the way when editors need to move quickly. T&E’s campaigns operate on political timelines, not publishing schedules, so the system had to support both careful planning and immediate response.
The platform showcases T&E’s significant wins, from exposing the dieselgate scandal to securing the 2035 combustion engine ban and creating the world’s biggest carbon market for aviation. Each achievement sits alongside the ongoing work that matters in the decisive decade for climate action.
The new site gives T&E the tools to publish technical research and campaign materials with equal ease, supporting their distributed team as they continue shaping European environmental law.
